This beautiful mushroom sculpture has been a long process to get the glaze effect on the cap. This is actual kiln fired pottery and those bumps are a special glaze. The glaze is amazing, rare and real science I won’t go into here but you can see it and enjoy!
This is the closest I have come to making a “Amanita muscaria“ with pottery also know as “fly Amanita”. I hope you love this as much as me!
The sculpture is approximately 4” tall and 4 1/2” wide.
Photographs are taken in natural light to show true color but due to computer display differences the color may appear slightly different in person.
